Information Privacy

Kagan’s HOME wants you to feel comfortable searching and exchanging information on our site. We realize the importance of feeling safe online and commit fully to ensuring that your privacy is respected and protected when you interact with our website.

Privacy refers to the way Kagan’s HOME collects and uses personal information. We have instituted policies intended to ensure that your personal information is handled safely, responsibly and guided by a “Need to Know” principle. We do not collect any personal information, such as your name, address, phone number or email address unless you choose to provide it, in which case all personal information is freely contributed by you, the visitor. You have our guarantee that Kagan’s HOME does not sell, trade, rent or otherwise share user-specific information with third parties without your consent except in the following instances: (1) unless required by applicable law or pursuant to a court or similar order; and/or (2) unless deemed necessary, in Kagan’s HOME’s discretion, as being in the interests of justice or to protect the legal rights or the property of Kagan’s HOME. Kagan’s HOME reserves the right to allow access to its systems to third parties providing necessary technical services when such access is required in order to provide those services. The consumer information gathered on this site will be used for aggregate research and for future site development.

IP Address

Your IP address, a number assigned by your Internet Service Provider to your computer to identify its location, is used to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website. We do note details such as the server you are logged onto, the geographic location of the ISP you use, the type of browser you use and your IP address. This information is obtained solely for the purpose of measuring site traffic in order to tell which pages are most popular and how visitors are moving about the site.

Cookies

Our site uses a feature of your browser to set a “cookie” on your computer. Cookies are small packets of information that a site’s computer stores on your computer. Kagan’s HOME can then read the cookies whenever you visit the FLS website. We use cookies to save your password so you don’t have to re-enter it each time you visit our site, to deliver content specific to your interests and to track the pages you’ve visited. These cookies allow us to use the information we collect to assure your visit to the site is as relevant and as valuable to you as possible. Once you have provided basic information for your Design Folder or Room Planner, we keep it in your personal account file so you don’t have to re-enter it next time.

Opt-In/Opt-Out Policy

Upon registration, you may be asked to indicate whether you are interested in receiving occasional information from us about special offers or news that we feel may be of interest to you. We will do so only with your permission. If you do choose to receive these communications by means of an opt-in, we will occasionally send you an email message that matches your request. You may, of course, always choose not to receive any of this information from us. At any time, you can follow a link provided in every newsletter or email message to unsubscribe from that mailing list or email service. Further, you may contact us through service@kaganshome.com to have your contact preference changed to “Do Not Contact Me.”

Links to Other Sites

Our website links to sites of other manufacturers. These sites are governed by their own privacy policies. Because the content of these sites is not under our direction or control, we cannot take any responsibility for them.

Our goal is to make your visit to our site as safe and rewarding as possible. If you have any questions about this policy or believe there is a problem during your visit, you can contact us at service@kaganshome.com. As we continue to develop our website and take advantage of technologies to improve the services we provide, this policy likely will change. We encourage you to refer to this policy on an ongoing basis so that you understand our current privacy policy.

Third-Party Tracking

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads on sites across the Internet based on your past visits to our website. We may use this anonymous information for remarketing to display more relevant ads to you on other websites at a later time. You can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies by visiting the “Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out Page”.

Third parties such as Facebook may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect or receive information from our website(s) and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. Users can opt-out of the collection used for ad targeting. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information and partnered third-party API’s for purposes of contacting you, sending you emails or targeted ads based on your request for information.
